I chose this item as it reminds me that this is a great tool , which you should always have on hand if the electricity goes out (not the gas stove). We survived a hurricane many years ago and were without power for weeks. At the time, I was going about the old-fashioned way my parents and grandparents used to make coffee and share it with neighbors. I did this by putting coffee in cold water, boiling it and straining it. Boil the milk and mix the foam that forms during boiling with a small spoon. This is the tastiest coffee. In fact, I did this when I was looking for a car to buy. I figured since it wouldn't take long to make coffee this way and to be prepared for another emergency where I could make coffee on the back grill burner, I bought it. It seems like a better option than paper. For my method above I used paper and it kept tearing so I decided to throw the paper away. I didn't give it a 5 because it's smaller than it looks in all the photos but I like that it's one piece.
