NO purpose. I cannot recommend this makeup brush! I tried it for the first time last weekend as I needed a weekend away from home. I bought it for convenience so I don't have to carry a large makeup brush. This compact retractable brush was a big disappointment! The design and color match the description on the website. When opened it was unusable. It's very compact and barely opens to pick up loose powder that I wanted to put on my period face. It was very tight and unmanageable to open wide. The design is very bad. Looks good, the only pro. I tried collaborating with him to apply makeup but it ended up staining my face. I took the time to return the brush due to my complete dissatisfaction and it is non-returnable! BEWARE! After talking to Amazon customer service I didn't understand where. Something about it being a "dangerous" product that cannot be returned. It didn't make any sense to me. The option to email the seller was not available. I wanted to return and get a refund. no I was told my only option was to contact EcoTools and was given their email address along with a phone number. I haven't done it yet, but I intend to. The fact that Amazon couldn't/wouldn't help me was unacceptable. After wasting time repeating my complaints to the company, I'm wondering if it's worth wasting time on a cheap brush. You get what you paid for. I do not recommend this purchase. The brush is not intended for applying makeup to the face.
