This is a great product! I had an old filter wrench with a 17mm screw on top that unscrewed the filter housing. Unfortunately it broke when the top part where the screw attached to the wrench broke. Worked great on my 2013 BMW 328i X-Drive (F30) and 2011 BMW 528i (F10). Seriously buy this product, it makes removing the filter cover a lot easier. It's set up for a 3/8" drive, or you can use a set of channel locks to remove it. Before purchasing this product I drained the oil in my 528i and was unable to remove the cap.
