I've joined the Wyze ecosystem but I needed a doorbell camera. Unfortunately, Wyze hasn't made it yet and I don't want to invest in the ring ecosystem. I had a Wyze camera on a tripod outside my door, but my wife started complaining about how uncomfortable it was. After brainstorming, I came up with the idea of installing a camera above the front door. I used this item to provide a power socket for my Wyze camera and then also bought an LED light bulb with a built in photo sensor. This is how the light appears between dusk and dawn, and my Wyze camera works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
