This is a great concept! I had never thought much about flossing before. I remember being afraid of dental floss as a kid. But then you start thinking that every day you use so much yarn and sometimes it breaks and you have to cut a different length. Never wonder where this is all going. Also, we all live in a time when there really is so much extra packaging. This company and this product is trying a new and unique way to do it. Recyclable paper/cardboard packaging, glass bottle with metal cap (instead of hard-to-recycle plastic) and biodegradable corn-based filament, making it naturally waxed. I still think it's a thread. I really like it and think the glass jar is really elegant, modern, portable and trendy! There are no complaints that I can think of. I'm glad I could try it and I think it's something I can recommend too!
