I would rate it Very High for what this item is meant to be and what it does. However, I may regret later that the fans weren't more powerful, but with more power comes the potential for more noise, as well as the need for more space and potentially more power consumption and the need for an external power supply. Simply plug the adapter/brick into the USB port of the Playstation 5 (PS5). If you haven't read some technical articles about them or news reports about these articles, there are potential concerns about heat issues. -- especially with one of the memory modules. While Sony has put a lot of effort into heat dissipation, there's obviously a problem with one of the memory modules not necessarily staying as cold as it should. Hopefully this doesn't cause problems later on, but given the limitations Sony has faced (tolerances in this area) there's certainly reason to worry that this could cause problems for users. I personally experienced issues with Red Ring of Death on the Xbox 360 series when they were relatively new. It took years and many demands from consumers for Microsoft to do the right thing and care about its customers to fully address these issues and provide "fixed" systems for everyone. I and other users had to return the original consoles, get replacements that weren't really fully repaired in that area, and then replace those replacements with later versions of consoles that were fully repaired. It was a nightmare and a mess that made people who paid hundreds of dollars for the latest, fanciest, most powerful consoles regret that they'd spent their money on competing products instead. I don't remember Sony having that much trouble with their hardware back then, but heat has always been an issue when it comes to computing gear. If you can't cool the components, they will overheat and mysterious bugs and problems will appear that are completely unpredictable. Random reboots, application crashes, video game crashes, and similar problems can occur, up to and including system crashes that can lead to a complete system crash (boot errors, such as Microsoft Red Ring of Death). Because of this, I do everything in my power to remove hot air from the system and push cooler air into the system where possible. Which brings us back to what I originally bought this stand for. The possibility of a charging station for wireless controllers is an absolute bonus for me. I like that it's accessible and doesn't take up too much space to run, although space needs to be left on the left side (when facing the console) for easy access to where you place the controllers. to the USB-C charging ports and/or remove the controller from its installation location. This stand works with both the UHD Edition (devices with an optical drive) and the PS5 Digital Edition. There is a small plastic plug that needs to be removed when using this stand with the PS5 UHD version. It might be a nice upgrade for this device to provide a place to snap this removable flap in place so that it doesn't get lost and has to be discarded (recycled) by the end user or kept for possible future use. Hopefully Sony will continue to make improvements to the system software that help in terms of cooling and over time I will learn to trust this device to keep the console completely cool even when it's on standby to get around to consume electricity. At this point I still play it safe and turn off the system completely instead of leaving it in sleep mode. It takes a little longer to start up and prevents the ability to update apps and games while idle, but it helps keep the system cool and I hope it helps avoid a later loss of use that will leave me very frustrated.
