If you're looking for a bear-proof camera bag, this isn't it. I had a problem with bears ripping my cameras off the trees and taking them away from me. When I find them, they are often destroyed. I was excited to try this box with the new Browning camera. I screwed the box to the wood and when I checked it for the first time I was glad to see the camera was still there. However, the box is designed so that the part of the camera that contains the lens protrudes about 1/4 inch from the front of the box. The bears have completely eaten that part of the camera so it no longer has a lens, just a big hole. This new camera worked less than two weeks. The box must be designed in such a way that the camera is protected within the box and important parts of the camera are not exposed.
