Review on Cllena Digital Multimeter Current & Voltage Tester | Boat Marine πŸ”§ Vehicle Motorcycle Truck ATV UTV Car Camper LED Round Panel (Blue LED) by Tone Hatton

Accuracy leaves much to be desired, reading speed is buffered, waterproofing on the display side is zero.

The second attempt to try his luck, this one is also not good. The calibration doesn't work to the same extent as my first purchase so I guess that's what it is, good idea, that's all. The voltage is cut off at 30 mV, the current is cut off at about 210 mA. I connected it to a known voltage and current source, in this case 12V 1000mA, connected to a 10 ohm 35W resistor via very short, soldered 16AWG stranded wires. I get a reading of 12.3V 850mA. None of those who rely on a rectangular cutout exhibit such inaccuracy. They can be cut off at 30mV and the current at 50mA, but both are easily user adjustable with built in trimmers accessible from the rear panel. The update rate is buffered by 1-2 seconds, making reading load current fluctuations nearly impossible [which was my original goal]. physical effect. It is not sealed and the electronics will not be flooded. There is a potentiometer on the board and it looks like it has a positive current accuracy setting. However, it's a one turn potentiometer that got me up to a 100mA difference before the wiper went invalid, which gave me some pretty crazy numbers. I might replace the pad with one that has 21 turns and see what I can do to salvage it. By the way, green LEDs give off too much glare, and I found two rectangular pieces of blue masking tape to be perfect for this.
