An abbreviated history. A HyperX Cloud Core headset was presented as the gift. The Realtek 1220 sound card that was integrated into the motherboard (z270 Mark 1) was found to have a power output that was much below expectations. Inexplicably, there was not enough volume. I made the decision to invest up to three thousand dollars in a PCI-E card. Make your choose from the Asus Xonar dg, dgx, or the Creative Audigy FX. Reading the reviews helped tip the scales in favor of Audigy FX as the best option. The drivers for 10k were automatically retrieved from various locations on the internet. I got the software from the website and downloaded it. There was no need for dancing with a tambourine because everything was established. At long last, I was able to appreciate the elegance of the HyperX gaming headset. After making some adjustments to the equalizer, the sound is now incredibly crisp and clear, with just the right amount of bass. The toys are arranged in a very pleasing manner. A sound card that is perfect for headsets in the mid-range price range.
