I bought this collar waiting to write a review after reading so much it stopped working after a month or two. But I've had it for 3 now and it's still working great - The product is doing what it was designed to do: stop our dog's barking. Our problem was that we leave our dog at home alone to go to work or even go out at night. He is a beagle so he howls/barks very loudly and my neighbors started complaining to the owner of the house (we share a duplex). We bought this and it has definitely stopped barking, but I have a problem. Our dog is still a puppy and likes to shake his head a lot, especially when he's excited and this triggers the collar. . From the way he's showing the controls I thought he was making noise and vibrating and if he KEEPS barking it's going to shock. But that's not the case; it beeps, vibrates and shocks instantly. So if he shakes his head too much, he's shocked. Disabling the dampener and using only vibration CAN solve this problem, but vibration alone is not working for my dog. All in all it's a pretty good product and it definitely does what it's supposed to do. We just put a collar on him when we leave the house.
