Very light-weight - good and bad
The board seems to be made of some type of very-dense foam. It is plenty hard for writing on I assume, but not rugged. ON the positive side, this makes it very light. On the negative, I doubt it will hold up to even mild abuse. Also, ours had a long crease in it. I've seen this type of manufacturing flaw in products made this way. This isn't terrible, but given the location of ours, I didn't want something that was clearly cheaply made.
- Great for teaching and tutoring sessions
- The blackboard may be difficult to write on without a proper grip
