A few years ago I bought a similar looking device that could record two channel stereo sound. However, the video output from this device had a purple tint in the top quarter of the video. So I bought another capture device that had good video but only output mono audio. I bought two more of these to use for stereo recording, but lo and behold they've now changed the hardware inside to only output mono audio too. RED RCA CONNECTOR - WRONG. When you connect this to OBS, OBS only reports available mono audio. If you want true stereo sound from a source like a VCR, this is an absolute CRASH. They'll suffice for home video, which will be recorded in mono anyway, but if you want to record something more substantial, look elsewhere. BEWARE OF DIGITNOW AUDIO RECORDING DEVICES
