Review on Exquisite Tealyra Porcelain Turquoise 18 2 Ounce Extra Fine Tea Set by Terry Wilson

As close to perfection as it gets. It's beautiful, durable, easy to clean and the strainer is large and allows for good circulation (so the tea brews better). It doesn't drip when poured, and there are no awkward hot spots to pinch (or burn) your fingers when pouring. When I first put tea leaves in, I stumbled upon the attached lid and made a bit of a mess. I'm just not used to a closed lid. I've since adjusted how the teapot looks at me when I fill it and it feels natural and I haven't wasted a tea leaf since. I've been using tea bags for years, but I really miss the delicious Japanese green tea my dad used to make at home. Now I just heat water in a separate Pyrex measuring cup (I make about 2 cups and it fits perfectly in a teapot) and I have the perfect tea for me or even a guest. I've been using it every day for over a month now, there is some discoloration/tarnishing on the strainer hinges but this is normal for a teapot strainer. I highly recommend this product! One of my best Revain purchases.
