For the price, you can't beat this silent movement. Three pairs of hands is a good trait. The mounting sleeve can be easily installed with 1/4" washers to achieve proper face alignment. I used the gold handle that came with it, but it was too long. Being aluminum they were easy to cut. Using small electronic wire cutters, reduce their size to almost exactly fit the original clock hands (Seth Thomas' 1947 electric mantel clock). hands (I don't have). All in all it was a half hour project and I am very happy with the result. The notion may be scoffed at by purists, but it's a great way to preserve the look and function of a worn-out heirloom watch. Finally, you can always put a rebuilt movement back in if you find one, as there are no case modifications, all original watch parts "just in case".
