Works great but use 2x4 for your mount.

Love these hooks and highly recommend them. The only advice is to buy an 8 foot 2x4 and bolt it to the wall first and then attach the hooks to the desired location on the 2x4. I also used regular construction screws to attach the hooks instead of large screws meant to attach to the drywall anchors. I wouldn't even try using drywall anchors as drywall isn't designed to hold that much weight. I would definitely buy it again as it has been a huge space saver and organizer for me.
