I have been drawing for over 3 years and have tried almost all gel pens. This is a great set of basic colors. They are perfect for all types of colorists. Anywhere you're just starting out and want to try a small, inexpensive base set, or you're a longtime colorist and want to replace some of your most commonly used colors without buying a larger set. It's also great for travel. They fit perfectly in your painting bag for on the go. They have rubber pens for your convenience and the ink flow is good. Won't get wet or dry or scratch like other brands. I would highly recommend them to all colorists.
