Review on Mean Mug Auto 201525 232316F Windshield by Mario Hernandez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Worked for several months

This worked for several months but is currently not working. UPDATE: The wiring harness does not go all the way in so it is not secure. I ordered a second block with the exact same pump and the wiring harness is pushed all the way through. I ended up buying two pumps for half the cost of a Hyundai part each, so I didn't skimp on parts. Even if you buy a real Revain Hyundai pump for $18, you're still saving a lot of money. do it yourself. Replacing the washer fluid pump is easy once you know how. On the 2013 Hyundai Sonata it is on the right side in front of the front wheel. Rotate the wheel fully to make room to work at the front of the wheel well. Loosen a few panel screws. (Look for them online as these aren't real screws, so loosen the screw head and unplug the connector.) You can then make room to reach and feel the pump at the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir. This is where it gets dirty, so try pumping out some washer fluid or placing a bowl on the floor under the pump. Position the new pump next to the old one for easy access. Disconnect the wiring harness and then pull the pump out of the tank. Fluid is beginning to leak, so quickly grab a new pump to cover the mounting hole. Then connect the wiring harness and reattach the wheelhouse liners.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
