Works great for Windshield Washer Pump

Perfect for 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited. Watch a YouTube video on installation. I also had to take a bike pump and pump some air into the washer lines that go to the windshield, they were kind of clogged.

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • Repair

But the pump works great.

The pump worked well but the rubber seal was leaking. Installed on a 2011 Sonata. The imprint was slightly different. When I poured liquid into the tank, it started dripping. I had to empty it and replace it with an old seal. After that I had no problems. This is great value.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Working speed

Great value for a plug and play part from 2012 Sonata!

Our 2012 Hyundai Sonata was a very easy pump to install. The pump itself is very easy to install. I had to remove some plastic under the car and in the wheel well to get there, but not difficult at all. My old pump wasn't working and I suspect it had to do with debris in the filter. I drained the washer fluid, removed the pump, installed a new one. Works great so far. I will update this review if the pump fails. The only thing I noticed that might be a cautionary tale for others is the size of…

Pump OK, seal defective

The pump is a direct OEM replacement and works perfectly. I removed the plastic screen (price immediately) at the inlet because the OEM didn't have it. There are only a few tiny holes in the mesh that appear to severely restrict flow. As others have said the rubber seal fits snugly on the pump but gets lost in the tank and doesn't leak well. You must reuse the OEM seal. Since the pump is a direct clone there is no reason why the seal is too small. This doesn't mean it has to fit in a lot of…

He just worked at Windshield Wipers and Washers

My wiper spray hasn't worked in over a year. I tried to find a blown fuse but to no avail so I just accepted it. Then my wife started driving, and she didn't like the lack of a washing machine. I started researching on YouTube and found that the pump and wipers are connected to the same fuse, so it was probably the pump. I was surprised at how cheap the pump was. That's why I ordered it. Installation: It was more difficult than the videos indicated to remove the wheel arch cover to access the…

Worked for several months

This worked for several months but is currently not working. UPDATE: The wiring harness does not go all the way in so it is not secure. I ordered a second block with the exact same pump and the wiring harness is pushed all the way through. I ended up buying two pumps for half the cost of a Hyundai part each, so I didn't skimp on parts. Even if you buy a real Revain Hyundai pump for $18, you're still saving a lot of money. do it yourself. Replacing the washer fluid pump is easy once you know…
