These shirts are very soft and smooth 95% cotton, 5% spandex. They are well made and heavy weight for warm days or wearing under sweaters etc. They are wide enough to fit freely which is good if you don't have a very thin child. The sleeves are medium length, short, fit well overall. I only wish they were about 2 inches longer but they will work as is.
