After inserting the needle to push it up, I applied coconut oil to a cotton swab and rubbed it in and around the needle to make it easier to pass through. It's very quick and easy if you know what you're doing. One more thing, if you don't know what to do, I advise you to do some research and watch a few videos before attempting to get pierced.
