This kit and slide hammer kit saved the day. I bought a bearing, nut, lock ring and hub kit. When my punch couldn't get any stronger, I added leverage with a pry bar. When that made me nervous about stripping the threads on the tool (and heck, this set has the biggest screw you can fit through), I gave in to the sledgehammer. I dropped the ball joint and transferred everything onto some pallets I just had laying around. I hit it with a sledgehammer (make sure you hit the right spot and use a socket you like to build a little on top of the bolt head to make it easier to hit). After each hit, I tightened the screw a little more as the bearing moved out a little. I even used a skid to put a new bearing in after the first inch was pressed in with this tool. So much fun.
