Disappointing Keyboard

This keyboard is a functional mechanical keyboard but for $100 I expected better and didn't get it. The protrusions on the home buttons (F and J) are very small and barely noticeable. The Cherry MX Red switches mostly work well and are quieter than the Brown, but the spacebar is noisy. The Caps Lock and Scroll Lock indicators are in the top right. Not the worst design, but the best keyboards have indicators on the keys themselves. The LEDs are dim, even at maximum brightness. When I set the LEDs to solid white they looked a bit magenta. By default, the LEDs are red. Illumination is a bit uneven - shifted characters are darker than usual. Software is terrible. Complicated and difficult to use. This can be useful if you want to customize the lighting effects for each game or do something really specific, but even then the UI can be improved. The software requires 500 MB of RAM. Even if you set it not to start automatically, it still takes up 100MB in the background due to some hidden services. There is a Windows logo on the OS button, which I like. me. I felt my hands slipping around the palm rest angle. The keyboard is so thin that I don't need a palm rest. The cable is not detachable. He's also unusually fat. Two USB ports, presumably for USB pass-through. Floating key design, which is beautiful.
