Works inefficiently

The device works quietly, but extracts little water from the air. I would estimate it removes 4 ounces in 8 hours. That is, in a room with high humidity. The air leaving the device is quite warm. I don't want heating. I want an air dryer. I cannot justify the cost of using 650 watts to run this device. I will refuse it, as will the replacement unit sent to me. Lesson learned. Adsorption dryers still have a long way to go.
