Mine broke when I first ordered it, then the replacement (thanks Revain) broke too. I did a lot of reading and ordered a new blade before trying a replacement. It broke off right away. NO engine or shaft vibrations! Apparently the metal is just poor quality. Hundreds of small bubbles can be seen in the gap. NOT HARD! The amazing thing about this story is that when the locking bolt is properly tightened, the blade continues to do its job and cut the grass well. I tightened my second broken adapter screw every few minutes on the first run. Everything seems fine now. Much luck!
