I bought three of these units and just installed them today. I bought two white ones for the bedrooms and one dark one for my screened in porch. The previous ceiling fan on the porch didn't even feel a light breeze at its height. On Medium, sitting sideways, I'm feeling a nice steady breeze as I type this. I live in Southwest Florida and I spend 90% of my time at home on the porch so I need a good fan. For the last few years I have used Honeywell tower fans instead of a ceiling fan. That's great. I tried the upstairs bedroom (much smaller and more enclosed space than the porch) and almost got carried out of the room lol. Exaggeration of course but she brought up some invisible dust bags, in the hot months it will be great to have such a powerful fan and not having to turn off the aircon as often. The electrician I installed them for was really impressed, especially with the unique blade attachment to the engine. He said he would check them out and recommend them to people as he was able to make all three in about an hour and fifteen minutes and the other two fans I bought (completely different brands/styles) took an hour each. Excellent value for money, very quiet, very powerful and again a simple and elegant design. Highly recommended.
