The description of this fan is very misleading. It says the blades are rated for wet environments, which means the entire fan is moisture resistant - it's NOT wet, just wet. When the box arrived it was very clearly stated on the side that it was for indoor use (ie not directly exposed to the elements). The instructions also clearly state on the lid that it is moisture resistant. If you are trying to buy this for outdoor use, "WET" is NOT suitable for wet environments.

I really like the tropical look of this fan and am putting it in my bedroom. The fan has really big plastic blades that look like rattan. I had to buy a light set. The angle of the blades is a little misleading, plus I also ordered a remote control. So I paid for each component separately which made it a bit pricey. The reason I wouldn't recommend buying it is a $20 Lowes Harbor Breeze fan replacement that was rated at 1250 CFM (cubic feet per minute).
