Review on TransDeco Universal Mounting System 65 Inch by Tina Carrell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Basically great for the money. stylish!

Basically excellent for the money, but there are some trade-offs. I really wanted a BDI Vista 9950 but for 3 times the price of this machine this hands down wins. The instructions were clear and the screws were nicely separated and labeled for you. The parts included an Allen key, but if you have a T-handle wrench you will have a much easier time assembling this unit. Be sure to secure everything again after the initial installation. Once weight is placed on this unit, the unit will settle a little and the screws that were previously tightened may not tighten. My only concern was the dual horizontal bars just behind the monitor's side arm, each held in place by two socket head screws. The monitor arm is attached to these 2 pieces with 4 screws and seemed to want to "rotate" a little forward due to the weight of the screen. Go to the TransDecos website and download the device PDF file so that you can familiarize yourself with this device. before the purchase. One suggestion: I think TransDeco should use a non-perforated back panel instead of a cheese grater to completely hide the wires from the front.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Poor set
