Review on Merrell Kid's Chameleon 7 Mid Alternative Closure Waterproof Hiking Boot: Durable and Waterproof Footwear for Adventurous Kids by Robert Blanton

Let me start by saying that I am a grown male who wears size 4 baby clothes as he was born with spina bifida. So my legs are small, squat and wide. I go through shoes like no other. My shoes have to be durable. These are the first Merrells I have ever owned and they won't be the last. They are definitely durable and fit great. Although they appear to be narrow. These shoes are very well made and I'm sure they will last a long time. I haven't tested this yet, but I'm not sure if they are waterproof. I say that because 50% of the upper is mesh. The tread on the sole of the shoe is excellent. Your child will not slip in it. Last but not least, these shoes have a high value. You definitely won't find quality and durability in any other shoe in this price range. Happy trails!
