Review on 🖋️ Pentel Arts Tradio Calligraphy Pen - Black Barrel, Water-Based Ink, 1.4mm - TRC114ABP: High-precision Writing Instrument for Elegant Calligraphy by Amber Perez

I bought this pen for Hebrew calligraphy and alphabet classes. This is my first calligraphy pen and I'm a beginner so issues may be user error rather than a pen issue. Pros - It's a very comfortable and easy-to-hold grip. The barrel is sized to fit my arthritic hands, allowing me to hold it securely without strain. It was easy to put the ink cartridge in and I made no mess and was writing with it in just a minute. However, I find it difficult to switch between thinner and thicker lines. I was hoping I could easily achieve the smooth transition you see in the Hebrew letters, but this pen seems to get stuck in the transition and I have to go over to the unwanted paper and scribble to get the ink to flow . I can't tell if this is a pen issue or a user issue as I'm inexperienced. I will post an update after playing with it some more.
