The Pro Heater comes with two black suction cup clips that you can use to attach it to your aquarium. It's very safe if you use both. Using just one allows the heater to rotate so use both for a secure fit. This heater was so good I bought another one. There is a problem with the second heater; The plastic cover of the indicator light was not installed correctly and water was able to get into the heater. Revain quickly replaced the heater and it worked perfectly straight away. This Aqueon Pro heater is very accurate, works very well and is easy to use.
