These are watercolor paints
I decided to buy paints and brushes from Amazon because the same set would cost me twice as much at Walmart as it does here. It's not that I want to be cheap. I just didn't want to pay more for the same thing. As for the palette. This works fine for me. I'm just starting out with watercolors so take this review with a pinch of salt. Some palettes are better designed and have better design for mixing colors. However, it worked well for my purposes and that's how I chose to set up my palette. So it really depends on how you want to organize, organize and store your stuff.
