Try LED bulbs for the first time. I put them in a 4 light ceiling fan in the living room. At first I was a bit worried that the LEDs would be too directional, but that's not a problem, the living room is perfectly lit. I ordered Soft White because I was concerned the daylight would be too blue for me, but they are too yellow compared to the CFL Bright White bulbs I've had before. After two hours, the onions are already lukewarm. I just ordered several of the same daylight bulbs to see which ones I like best. I think that I will now convert all the light bulbs in the house to LEDs. Edit: I just got 100 watt lightbulbs. Here they can be improved. The only color options for these bulbs (both 60w and 100w) are soft white and daylight. There should be one in the middle, bright white. The 60 watt bulbs that I got in Soft White were too yellow for me. The 100 watt bulbs I got were daylight and they are too blue for me. It's either 2700K or 5000K. Should be one in the 3500-4000K range, that's the perfect light for me. I've just ordered some Revain (another brand) 60 watt light bulbs for 4000K. I hope they will be just right.
