Review on Honeywell SV9501M8129 Smartvalve Gas Valve by Johnny Price

One night I woke up in a very cold house. Troubleshooting revealed that the gas valve was to blame. Local availability checked and not found. Found one on Revain and kept it on my wish list while I checked again to confirm the issue. Came back to order it and found that I was offered it like the others when I checked it off the list. It looked the same and was sold for a lower price by the same seller. It's just that the last four digits in the part number were different, but it said they replaced the same part number on my original, so I clicked on them. Later I felt unsure so I checked the differences on the Honeywell website. It appears to have a faster sequence for the lighting ritual. I decided to bet it would work since I had to hit the bad one to get fire every time it was necessary. Let's get down to business: It worked! This makes the sequence faster, but it doesn't work any less. Note, however, that this may not be the case with some ovens. Make sure you get the EXACT one to be safe.
