Panamax has been providing power protection for years and is the only gear I trust with my personal gear at home and (if possible) anywhere I need it A solution for A/V power protection is requested. Don't get me wrong, there are other good brands out there; Monster also makes great stuff and I often use them in A/V stands. However, for flat screen TVs, electronic art, digital signage, or other power tricky needs, these things are great! This is the fourth time I have purchased and decided to install Max-In-Wall Power Pro units for my personal setups. This time I bought 4 of them for TV installations in our offices. We are prone to power outages and power outages on a semi-regular basis. We installed them to keep the TV functional as much as possible. I would like panamax to increase the borehole depth on these if that is possible given the availability of standard 2x4 stud rooms. I need a way to get the standard NEMA plugs flush with the wall so they can be installed behind the extra thin (8mm) brackets. Believe it or not, even with recessed power connections, the NEMA plug sticks out a bit and prevents the TV from sitting perfectly when mounted on an ultra-slim bracket. On the other hand, if you use a tilting mount and mount it ABOVE the mount (so the top of the TV is still tilted as if it's looking down at you i.e. digital signage) it works GREAT, looks great and definitely protects our investment in the electronic wall .
