I ended up installing my TV too far from the main surge protector/line conditioner and the PF Surge Protector was the perfect solution to this problem. It attaches easily and provides the protection and conditioning I was looking for.

A little tricky to install because the instructions may be useless but it works That's all I can say and it's a big deal for my use case. Sockets do NOT hold the pins of what is plugged in. A friend recommended I buy three of these units a few years ago when we installed our new home theater in 2011.
