I got this because we heat our apartment with a portable heater and I didn't want it running all night but I did it is warm in our apartment in the morning. Thanks to this, I was able to set the time to turn off when we went to bed and turn on an hour before getting up. Since it has a 24 hour cycle, I even turned it off during the day at work and then turned it back on before we got home. I saved enough money in the first month to recoup what I spent on this item. Big!
