I really like this product. It has a mechanical dial to select half bar on and off times. The timer tape he replaced was non-mechanical, difficult to program, and stopped working. I recommend this timer to anyone who wants to control the timer of more than one device.

I would have to join those who boarded - the timer on my extension cord didn't work, although it took almost a week for a cold multicooker ( we use a timer to start ours while we're at work) to find out why. Because? The actual timer dial did not rotate to count the time. I realize I could probably return it for one that actually works (too much hassle. I threw away the packaging) but given the number of similar reviews I'd say it also speaks to the overall quality of the product.

Bought two of these: one for the turtle tank. They are fantastic for what they were designed for. They allow me to always have filters and heaters on and turn on the lights on time. Timers are accurate. I saw a similar product at my local grocery store for a third of the price so do some shopping. Overall I am satisfied with this product and it has not given me any problems in 6 months.

Now I have 5 of these, my first came about 3 years ago. I LOVE HER! I have a few Fenton and Pine backlit lights that I use year round in my house. I can put them on this timer, plug them in and set them to turn on in the evenings so I don't have to turn them off every day, they just turn on when it gets dark, giving my spaces a warm and cozy feel . They are amazing. Great for the Christmas tree, no fuss, just sit back and enjoy.

Bought for aquarium. I haven't had any real time wasting issues so it works great for me. Not having to connect an extension cord to the timer is convenient for the aquarium as I can access the timer when needed without having to reach for the aquarium. Overall this is exactly what is expected of it and reduces the number of extensions I have to do - never good practice in an aquarium.

I use this extension for my fish tank - it's AMAZING! It has four timed outputs and four regular outputs which is perfect for the aquarium because I don't want my filters and heater to be timed, just the light! on "off" and I need the light on, I can turn it on without disturbing the timer settings or changing plugs. It also has a master switch so everything can be turned off quickly if needed. Very easy to set up and use. Great purchase!

I got this because we heat our apartment with a portable heater and I didn't want it running all night but I did it is warm in our apartment in the morning. Thanks to this, I was able to set the time to turn off when we went to bed and turn on an hour before getting up. Since it has a 24 hour cycle, I even turned it off during the day at work and then turned it back on before we got home. I saved enough money in the first month to recoup what I spent on this item.
