This is a great cable for the money. Used it to connect a subwoofer to the back of a 2001 Chevy Silverado with an extended cab. This material is thick. It is advertised as an 8 gauge hole but appears to be too big. I had to use a 6 gauge hole on my scrapers to get a clean strip. The package I received lists a maximum rating of 60 amps, which seems to confirm that this is an oversized wire. The insulation was of excellent quality and was easy to work with. Clean energy for my subwoofer and clean country.
