I don't like to think I'm easily impressed, although I could be wrong about that, but this adapter far exceeded my expectations. I recently bought an adapter from another brand that promised no lip sync lag and a range of up to 230 feet. It paired easily and worked very well, but the range wasn't more than 20 feet and the call actually started to degrade at around 10 feet. It also turned out to have significant lip-sync issues (only an issue if you connect it to a TV). The seller said both the headphones and the adapter must support AptX, but that's really another way of saying it probably won't work, but that's not my fault. After that I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this device. but I thought I'd take another chance. WOW! It arrived this afternoon and I charged it for 2 hours before attempting to plug in and pair the headset. The headset paired with no issues and I first checked for a lip sync issue. My headphones are inexpensive and don't have aptX, so I was expecting some sync issues, but was amazed to find that lip sync problems are almost non-existent even on cheap headphones. I then tried the range and found I had connection issues at around 30 feet, but that's with a brick chimney between the headset and the adapter. I was able to easily get a range of 40 feet with just walls. I installed it as high as possible and away from the router, so that might make a difference. Overall I am very happy with this adapter and would recommend it to anyone looking to add Bluetooth connectivity. And at half the price of another device I've tried, it's great value.
