Bluetooth 5 0 Transmitter Receiver Streaming Review

Due to what I suspect is a firmware issue, the audio stops when a song change occurs. Pausing and pressing play again brings the audio back. Not a problem listening to a long set, but a problem with playlists. This doesn't happen with any other Bluetooth device I own, so all I can say is that it's a product issue.

I really like that it is small and versatile as a receiver/transmitter with mini jack and optical interface. The problem is that after only 9 months of use it just stopped working. My usage averaged twice a week, for about 2 hours each time. Sometimes it didn't work at all. Then a few days later it turned on but wouldn't connect to any of my Bluetooth devices. And when it connected it was only 2 seconds and it disconnected again.

It was cheap and easy to set up. I use it to cast my TV to Apple AirPods. Since the TV must be set to "Audio Out", the volume control is assumed to come from the audio device. While it does it well and is value for money, all it does is transmit (or receive) Bluetooth audio. And there is no volume control. So unless you're using it with a soundbar or speaker system (I just ordered a soundbar, we'll see what happens) stick to the same volume. It's just too quiet, so it's a bit annoying, but you…
