It was cheap and easy to set up. I use it to cast my TV to Apple AirPods. Since the TV must be set to "Audio Out", the volume control is assumed to come from the audio device. While it does it well and is value for money, all it does is transmit (or receive) Bluetooth audio. And there is no volume control. So unless you're using it with a soundbar or speaker system (I just ordered a soundbar, we'll see what happens) stick to the same volume. It's just too quiet, so it's a bit annoying, but you get what you pay for. It's probably just not meant to be used with AirPods. It also doesn't have a digital display or anything, so pairing the AirPods with the device is tricky and requires a few tries and button fumbles to get it working.
