I really wanted to love this product. I actually loved it for a short time, it makes a great cup of coffee. However, after too little use, it took longer and LONGER to make a cup. The holes are very small and clog easily. Are you talking about cleaning? Be my guest! I kept doing it and it didn't seem to matter. There are two layers in this thing and I think some very fine soil got in between and just slowed it down. It certainly filters well, but I like to have my coffee within 45 minutes of pouring, and I'd rather not put it in the microwave after filtering because it took so long that it's cold now. I went back to paper filters and they work much better.
