I don't have much experience with power supply extenders, but they worked for me. I have a Seasonic PSU that is very stiff at the end where the plug is, making cable routing difficult. It helped tidy things up a bit. It comes with plenty of cord combs to keep them tidy. The price was also a nice bonus.
