I ordered these shorts because I was tired of wearing both compression shorts and running shorts. The first impression was great. I really liked the phone pocket in the compression part. Looked good out of the box. The shorts are a bit heavier than I'm used to. But not in a bad way. Some of the compression shorts are actually not actual compression material. They are thicker than I'm used to. Comparable to adidas climawarm or Nike Hyperwarm. Also, I usually wear averages and I'm not sure if I'm losing weight, which is quite possible, or if they're too big. But these shorts are too big for me, which makes them a bit uncomfortable when running, which is what I mainly use them for. I checked the sizing chart and I normally wear a 32 so these should fit. However, they are a bit big. You can try small ones and see how they fit. Otherwise I like them
