I bought this to charge and store my PS4 controllers when not in use. The charger fits perfectly on my desk and holds the controllers very well. The pictures show a small piece of plastic that the controller is inserted into, which is true. However, the plastic is slightly smaller than the controller, which provides a good grip and grip. I had no trouble attaching or detaching the controllers, and the plastic isn't firm enough to press the button below the trackpad. The lights are obvious when changing colors (red for charging, blue for idle/shutdown) and not overly bright in my opinion. Much cheaper than the charging station I bought for my XBox One and works great!
