Review on PetSafe Stubborn Dog Indoor Adjustable 🐶 Pet Barrier & Collar for Effective Training by Dawn Wright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Miraculously, the best collars, harnesses and leashes

We have a very large (130 lb Mastiff), very stubborn dog who likes to climb on racks. He gets pots and pans out of the sink, once he swiped a whole pot off the counter, he's a holy terror and nothing was safe from him. We've tried to keep things off the shelves, but something has always slipped and been forgotten. The last straw was that it ended up in a box of inexpensive goodies made from rice cereal, wrappers and all. He ended up throwing away the wrappers for two days and I was done. I went online and ordered it that evening. It was pretty easy to set up, I set it to shock level one to test it out myself first to make sure I wasn't tormenting it. It wasn't bad, but I definitely felt it! I left it on the first level and put the transponder in the corner of the kitchen so it couldn't reach the counters. I was amazed, already at the first level he got 1 or 2 electric shocks and that was enough for him to get the idea. He knows the limit and will be sitting right on the edge, he knows the signal that means he will be electrocuted. I accidentally left leftovers on the counter yesterday and was sure he would push them through and they would be gone. But they were still there when I got home! I couldn't believe it. Let's see if he tries to be more stubborn, but we have 4 more levels and we can raise him if he does. The only small comment I have is the size of the transponder. I didn't realize it was about 12 inches wide, so it takes up a bit of counter space, but that's a compromise I'm willing to make. Otherwise I'm so happy with it. It doesn't cause nausea. I don't eat junk anymore, I don't care what he does while we're away, this is the perfect solution for us.
