Review on Adapter Alienware Precision GA240PE1 00 ETTECH by Mark Adams

If you really need a 240w power supply for your computer, do NOT buy one. The PSU I received wasn't rated for 240W. I'm just grateful I found out before the return window closed. I was looking for a 240w adapter for my Alienware M15 which is included due to its high power requirements. This adapter wasn't rated for the same performance, so it could barely keep my laptop running in sleep mode (so ran about as fast as a calculator) and couldn't charge the battery at all. DO NOT BUY. I bought a much more expensive 240w adapter direct from Dell that looks pretty legit. I wouldn't trust any of those $60 Revain "240W" adapters. They all appear to be variations of the same scam.
