Adapter Alienware Precision GA240PE1 00 ETTECH Review

I bought two of these, one for travel and one for a second home. The first one I bought in August 2019 works great and charges my laptop. The second one, which I bought in November 2019, not only generates a warning screen on boot (others have seen this too) but also does NOT load. So here I am with a 6% charge, a 6 hour flight ahead of me without being able to charge my laptop. So be vigilant.

If you really need a 240w power supply for your computer, do NOT buy one. The PSU I received wasn't rated for 240W. I'm just grateful I found out before the return window closed. I was looking for a 240w adapter for my Alienware M15 which is included due to its high power requirements. The OEM charger for my Alienware laptop stopped working and I had to replace it. I bought this 4 months ago instead of buying from Dell. TLDR; The item was shipped quickly and arrived undamaged. It fits perfectly on my Dell Precision M6800. Even with an OEM product sticker. Works on Dell G7 17 7700 with no issues. There are no problems with overheating or undervoltage yet. Slightly larger than the original but to be honest it's negligible. There's a slight difference when comparing side-by-side, but if it had come from the factory I never would have known. One thing I noticed is the discharge rate, which is much faster than the OEM.
