I was really arguing about the size as there were so many reviews saying it runs small. I have a beautiful QH head - not a fancy modern show horse head, just a beautiful QH head - so I took a chance on the butt size. Great fit! I wanted it to be snug enough to keep flies out - not good if your fly mask allows even one fly to get underneath - but still be comfortable. That! It's stretchy enough to slip down its large jaw, but snug enough around its neck and muzzle to get the job done. The mesh is a little closer to the eyes than would be ideal, but even with a scratched eye (the reason he needs a mask) he's still fine with the mesh close to his eye. The ears are the right size too - I hate big floppy ear masks - this one is almost stylish! I washed it once and it came out of the washer and dryer looking brand new. Thanks for a great product!
