I've had this mount for a week now and I can tell you it's one of the best mounts I've ever had. I cleaned my dashboard before use and it immediately sucked firmly and didn't lose suction. Where I live in Michigan we have some of the shittiest roads and the mount stands up to the test of keeping the phone in place. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus with an otter case and it opens wide enough for your phone to fit in and you don't have to rotate it to hold the phone in place. I've only used it on a suction cup on the dashboard, which by the way doesn't have a smooth texture, and I've had no reason to try the vent clip or use it on the windshield, so I can't say if any of these mounting methods are any better than the others . I absolutely recommend choosing one of these and I myself buy more for our other car.
